Little 5k, followed by a bbq. Out at Coot Lake. The thunderstorms held off so I went out to use this as a threshold workout. Got in 4.5 miles before the race. Saw a ton of F4 folks out there. And my buddy, Steve, from work came out to race as well.
started out under control, by the 3/4 mile mark things had settled down. Hit the turn around (a little over half way) and the "work" had started. I just focused on keeping my feet moving quick, staying "tall", and "leaning into it". My form broke a few times, but it all went well. 6:40, 6:40, 6:31. Finished in 20:35.
