FTP test

First test with the newly calibrated powertap. WAY different from the first test. But based on the gear I was pushing and the perceived effort, it felt like a good test. 10 minutes easy with a few jumps. Then 2x20 minutes with 2minutes easy spin, shooting for the highest average and a low VI.

42 minutes
Pnorm = 195 watts
Pavg = 193 watts
VI = 1.01
mph = 17.9
cad = 75

I'm ok with these numbers. Last year my highest indoor test was 200 watts. That was in March, so I'm ahead of the curve at this point. The cadence was a little low, I'll start paying attention to that more over the next few weeks.

I did the test at about noon. Then at about 4 I jumped on the treadmill for 4 miles. The run felt better than I imagined it would. Started a 10 min/mile and ran the last mile at 6:50.
