First - lunchtime, 4 miles, pretty relaxed, bonky at the end, need to time my eating better. ~4 miles
Second - afterwork with Chris riding along. With him on the bike, I run faster, it's zone 3 and into zone 4 at times. Averaged 7:30s for 3.7 miles.
There are a couple reasons I have for wanting to run faster. This fall the goal is a fast 5k. Ultimately the goal is to run faster in my triathlons next year. But we'll focus on 5ks this fall and winter. To make this a little more fun, I have given myself a set of rewards. If I reach my goal of sub 20 (on an accurate course) I am allowed to buy a mtn bike. The further I go under 20, the nicer the bike.
If I run under 20 minutes ....

So many great choices. :) I'm planning on riding the C&O TowPath trail next June with my buddies. It's 182 miles from Cumberland MD to Washington DC. Here's the interesting part, they ride it in one day. So next June the plan is to race the Rocky Gap sprint triathlon on Saturday, camp Saturday at the trail head, and then ride to DC the next morning. Seems like a fun weekend :)
