Friday - what happened to Wed and Thursday?

Wednesday - just did the bike commute to work and then to the grocery store. After tuesday's great run, I thought I might chill for a day. Give my body a chance to asoborb the run and Monday's hard bike workout.

Thursday - snow and rain so I worked for home. If I was tougher I could have made it to work. But I had a really well defined list of things to do (which I need to work from home effectively), so I thought I'd take advantage. Ended up doing a spinerval, but had to alter the workout a bit. Instead of zone 4 efforts, I put in my efforts at the bottom of z 3 (1/2 IM pace). Did 3x 10 min z 3 efforts and a few stops. Total time was 1hr.

I'm on track for an 8 hr week total. I'm not really ok with that. Doesn't feel like enough. But my body seems to be responding well to that work load. I can really go after the harder workouts, I'm sleeping well, and my appetite is good.

Speaking of appetite, I made dinner last night, salmon steaks w/ horseradish butter and asparagus wrapped in proscutto (sp) and dill roasted veggies. Carol brought a great bottle of wine, it turned out to be a great meal.

Well, horseradish butter requires at least 10 hours a week.

Make that 12 hrs...I think we are going to grill steaks on Sunday so we can use it again. :D
