A good training weekend. Saturday - 1:10 on the trainer, some single leg work, 4 x 3 min LT. then 4 miles running at an easy to mod. Mostly focused on quick feet and good posture.
Sunday - Runnin' of the Green in Denver. 7k (but was a little short). I started way back and jogged through the crowds to the first mile in 9:18. Then eased into a nice solid effort. Ticked off 7:15s for the next three miles. Unfortunately this was my LT pace. So not as fast as I'd like to see for that kind of effort. But the pain level was quite tolerable. And the perceived effort wasn't as high as LT normally feels. If felt "comfortably uncomfortable" more than out right pain. I think this may be due to the volume I was able to get in over the last few months.
Last week represents a good first week back to training after being sick. Felt good on the bike. Enjoyed working on the leg strength in the weight room and even made the 5:45 am Master's practice twice!

Damn running of the Green is never measured right. Always short.
Way to get out and get after it. Keep living it.
