Wednesday 2/13 - Elliptical Trainer 40 min & lift

There's always something good to be found. This minor leg injury I am dealing with has provided a great inspiration to get into the gym again. As a coach of mine says, you can never be too strong. And while there is a lot to racing other than strength, I think the longer the race distance and the older the athlete, the more a role that strength plays in success. So with that in the back of my mind, I hit the gym today. Forty minutes on the elliptical trainer. And then into the weight room. I'm been pretty focused on getting in running volume lately. And I've done a great job of it. Now it's time to get strong so I can handle the workload that is just around the corner.
