Good solid workout day. Nothing profound to say. Swam with the Louisville Master's group. I enjoyed this a great deal. I really liked the layout of their workout. 4 lanes focused on a form based workout. And 3 concerned more with fitness. And the great part was that each group had their own coach. I jumped in with the form group. I want to spend the first 15k to 30k working on form. The fitness will come later.
The run felt better than I thought it would feel. A little 'creaky' the first mile or so, but then ran along just fine. Stayed in z1 for most of the run.
Yesterday's run....7:50/mile for the 9 mile section. but for the whole 15 I was 8:15 and that was with the walks break and the melt down mile at 13. So, I think I definitely started the run too fast. I'll have to mess with some pacing ideas for the race. Now we start the 2 wk taper.
