Summer of the Caveman

The Caveman Attitude

...if you don't have talent, throw hard work at the problem and you will see success. How much hard work? More than you think you can do right now. Stretch you imagination....now, go beyond that, that's how much hard work it will take. 1:10 for 10 miles, hard work, 2:20 for 20 miles, hard work. Want to qualify for Boston or Kona...put in the work. If you can't imagine it right now, who cares, do the hard work then decide. 12 weeks is not enough. Stay the course. Ask yourself what you have done right to reach your goals. For me, returned to Boulder, lost 7 pounds, hired a knowledgeable coach, been diligent about following the plan. Have you reach your goals, no. Are you working hard, yes....then stay the course. Trust that hard work and time will yield results.
