Cautiously Optimistic

Power test this last weekend and got my highest measured FTP ever.
Smacked it good on the bike Tuesday night. Decent long swim Wednesday morning. Last night was a long trail run, 2:10 and today I'm feeling pretty ok.

Thoughts moving forward:
  • Develop and practice a detailed, yet flexible plan for IM. (Mostly that means figure out how to have extra clothes and calories available throughout the day)
  • Practice riding, in aero, at my "target" power for IM
  • Two or three more long rides
  • Two or three more long runs
  • Two race rehearsals to dial in pacing and nutrition plan
  • Keep cool calm and focused
  • Race my guts out at the local races and have fun with it
