Tuesday: Easy run, 5.93 miles in 47min (7:55). This was a little harder than 'easy, but not by much, I had to keep telling myself that it wasn't a race day. I need to work on this a little, the ability to just go run along for an hour. Save the hard efforts for hard days and races.
Evening Spin, inside on the trainer. 40 min w/ 4x(5x30'(240W)/30'(120W)) with 2 min easy between sets. took the last round up toward 300w. Moving to 3x(4x1min/1min) for Thursday
Wednesday am: Master's at East ~1800yards...nearly made it through the workout. :)
lunch run on the treadmill as it's FREEZIN' outside again. 4x200, 4x400, 4x200 at 6:18 pace. 40 minutes total. Felt pretty good actually.
Strange things, so far, this week...
Monday's swim...got stuck behind a fat, hairy man in a tiny speedo... not the most pleasant sight to be seeing.
Wednesday's swim...just about ready, locking up my locker and a guy walks in from the shower, stands at his locker and pulls on surgical gloves.....I didn't stick around to find out why.
Oh and the floor in the East Boulder Rec center is NASTY....wear your flip-flops people...safety first!
