Thursday Lunch run...on the 'mill. 4x200/2x800/4x200/2x400 at 6:18 pace. 44 minutes total. Went well. Was able to settle in fairly comfortable like during the 800s.
Friday morning Masters ... 2300 yards. some some faster times today (36 sec for 50), 1:22 for 100. another nice thing about this morning was that I stayed in the water for the whole workout. I didn't have to get out early. I still didn't complete the workout properly, I had to shorten a few of the intervals to get extra rest and not fall behind the others in my lane.
so it's getting better.

So what's it like living in Boulder as a "normal everyday" triathlete? Is the town just flooded with superstars of the endurance world and do you need to shave your legs as to not be ostracized?
Any pros at your masters team and if so how about some paparazzi photos :-)
It's pretty wild to see the superstars out and about. But they are all very cool and just doing there thing. If you didn't know who they were, you'd just think, oh, he looks fit. The DeBoom's are swimming regularly right now. A lot of the local pros swim with Dave Scoot at Flatiron's gym. Summer is more fun, the weekly swim/run race at the res is loaded with pros. Crazy fast. But the town has the full spectrum of athletes, fat and slow to superstars, it's all good.
