5430 Sprint Race

Decent day. Missing some mojo but still executed very well. Ok swim, nothing eventful. Good solid bike. Had some fun here, was surprised at the speeds I was riding. Going fast is fun. First mile of the run was ok, 6:41. But then slowed down to the turn around. Got there in 10:41, came home in 10:34. I might have ridden too hard, but I’ve seen this power numbers before followed by good runs. I’ll chalk this run up to the crazy week, bad sleep, and being back at altitude. Mostly I was just out of sorts all week leading up to the race. And it caught up to me on the run.

Here are the numbers from 5430sports.com

38th overall (out of 1125); 7th in AG (out of 110); highlight was the 26th fastest bike ride
