Good Stuff...at least training wise.
Saturday am - BAM at East...~3000 yds. Main set started with 5x200 on 3:10. I hit about 2:58 for these. Pretty happy with that. I definitely have NO swim fitness right now, this was all on form. after 5x150, we had 5x100....I was done by now and this turned into a straight swim as I barely made the interval. Only in the swimming world is 10 seconds considered adequate rest after 3 minutes of exercise! I can fake 50s though and was hitting 38-40 seconds on those. All in all a good swim.
Saturday afternoon- 5.5 miles on the mill...w/ 3x1 mile @ 6:44. These actually felt pretty easy.
Sunday's workout. 1:40 on the bike with 50 minutes of threshold (FTP) riding) intervals and then 35 minutes on the treadmill. Got 5 miles in 34:43 on the mile. Sub 7 min/mile off a decent bike ride....in JANUARY! Pretty happy with this as last year at Peak I ran 7:03 per mile.
Monday is a rest day.
