Freezing out

-8 this morning...NEGATIVE 8...that's just stoopid cold.

Not sure what happen last week after the 1/2 marathon. got home with a very sore lower back. Crazy tight quads and hip flexors and psoas were pulling on my lower back. took 5 days to get it all worked out. Even then, I couldn't get myself rolling again. I'm very dependent on the sun and temp it seems. All I want to do is stay warm and eat. But staying warm and eating will not do much to help with next season.

So after failing miserably at Sunday's workout...I gave myself a good talking too.

Monday's workout: 1 hour on the bike, 2 miles on the treadmill.
2x10'(4') at ~230 watts
1x5'(4') at ~250 watts
1x15'(5') at 190 watts
then onto the mill for 2 miles
started at 7:30/mile and sped up to 6:18 for the last quarter.

Good to sweat again.

it is a good time of year to stay warm and eat. But it is a good time of year to build a foundation of rock and stone. Keep livin' it.
